THE BLACK ORCHID BAND

     We pull together various genres and styles that encompasses some of the best music that came from equally passionate composers, singers, and bands that graced the stage through the years.

     Relax and enjoy Gershwin's "Summertime" right along with van Morrison's "Moondance". Step out with Wilson Pickett's "Mustang Sally", the O'Jays' "Love Train", and Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music White Boy". Roll out the rhythm and blues with T-Bone Walker, Otis Redding, B. B. King, and Bill Withers. Don't forget the Motor City and its rich Motown heritage with hits like the Temptations' "My Girl", James Brown's "I Feel Good", and Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On", to name but only a few of the great artists with great songs to come from Detroit that we do.

     Need More? How about a splash of Canada in the mix with BTO, the Guess Who, and Colin James, eh?  Storm out with the Average White Band and the Ides of March. Switch it all up with Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, Steely Dan, the Black Crowes, CeeLo Green, Bruno Mars, etc... There really isn't anything we won't try. Except Buckley's!
